Meet Our Doctors
Dr. John DeCato, DPM
Dr. DeCato established his practice in September 1991. He attended Podiatric Medical School in Des Moines, Iowa and completed his surgical residency in Toledo, Ohio. At that time the doctor rotated through all departments in the hospital. Any spare time was spent training with the plastic surgeons and orthopedic surgeons.
Since that time Dr. DeCato has expanded the practice to include two other practitioners, one of which is his wife, Dr. Lori Herpen. They were married in Philadelphia in October 1992. Together they have three lovely daughters – Reilly, Natale, and Giana. Of course, with children come pets – a golden retriever, two cats, two fish, and one guinea pig!
When time allows, Dr. DeCato enjoys working outdoors, gardening and cooking. He has also enjoyed scuba diving, hunting, and golf.
